 The Readers Advisory Department has been reorganized in hopes of providing greater programming and services. This is a patron-oriented library service committed to promotion of lifelong reading. We will provide monthly lists of new fiction acquisitions and you may look for more "cheat sheets" for genre selections and award winners this fall. We are excited about sharing and talking about books and are more than happy to suggest "good" titles.
The Berwyn Public Library collects all types of fiction, so never apologize for your reading tastes! We have westerns, romances, fantasy, suspense, historical, science fiction, horror, classics, award winners, mysteries, family sagas, Christian fiction, gentle reads, anthology/collections, modern storytelling, holiday fiction and literary fiction.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center draws on the acclaimed social issues series published by Greenhaven Press, as well as core reference content from other Gale and Macmillan Reference USA sources to provide a complete one-stop source for information on social issues. Access viewpoint articles, topic overviews, statistics, primary documents, links to websites, and full-text magazine and newspaper articles.
What Do I Read Next? -- What Do I Read Next? includes over 100,000 recommended titles, more than 60,000 plot summaries, and awards information from 562 awards, all to help users uncover new reading adventures, find long-remembered favorites, and discover award-winning titles. Search by genre, subject, author, title, series, and more. A monthly highlights page allows the user to see selections of award winners, upcoming titles, and titles that revolve around different subjects each month.
