Throughout the school year and during the summer, the Youth Services Department accepts volunteer applications to be a junior volunteer. Junior volunteers donate their time one day a week for 2 hours. In order to become a junior volunteer, you must be 12-15 years old and have completed 6th grade. Volunteers donate their time for many reasons, including: just for fun, for confirmation, for a merit scout badge, or for a class project. Some typical volunteer duties include:
- Stamp Bookmarks
- Clean and Straighten Shelves
- Cut/Count Campbell Soup Labels
- Clean Tables (Middle, YA, Primary, and Program Room)
- Straighten Realia Closet
- Stuff Bags
- Straighten Magazines
- Copy Forms
- Other Various Duties
