• May 7th, 2004 - 2:32a - Began work on Publications section, created tables for publications of the following type: BPD/BPL brochures and BPL newsletters. Also, added 'staff birthdays' and 'telephone directory' pdfs to the Staff dropdown library.
• May 5th, 2004 - 4:00a - Just finished re-scanning the admin forms. While a good number of them are now editable on site, I still have another five to "make editable." For now, all forms from the old site are now available on the new site.
• May 2nd, 2004 - 2:08p - Added new books list for RA and Reference, updated site map, added seven freshly ported admin forms to the admin_form section of the website.
• April 30th, 2004 - 8:42p - Added 'Printer Friendly' link to all URL's... files can now be printed with ease. • April 29th, 2004 - 4:14a - implemented floor plan section, including pdf's, java-script,pop ups, etc; began work on administrative forms portation to new format/site. I've designed the layouts, tables, and file structures, first two forms are done, more to come; updated RA programming, switched over past programs, added two new programs and updated the online registration system to account for both sets of change (additions & deletions.
• April 27, 2004 - 3:21a - Rewrote all AS pages to read as RA/Readers Advisory; implemented AV collections's admin section, via php/mysql, and Dreamweaver. AV staff will now use the website to maintain its collections database for patrons.
• April 26, 2004 - 5:57p - Added new Reference feature, implemented search engine into new web site in standard search area, wrote directions for how to search, added related seach items, and wrote informational header for search engine. In addition, added main information.htm page, and fixed two typos on the E-Reference page.
• April 25, 2004 - 2:34a - I am getting close to uploading the first "semi-complete" version of the new dreamweaver-enhanced web site onto our server. I'm completing a few more tweaks, and of course- still have lots to do on the site. Some of the features coming in the next few weeks are: admin forms (reworked into site), floor plans, full site map, online reserves page (answers PIN questions with full graphics to offer on-site assistance, revamped internal scheduling system (time to drop phpBB and go with something built directly into this site), seussapalooza images (slideshow), Go Wild! program images (slideshow), and more. This is the 5th revision of the BPL site that I've completed...each revision has improved the quality of our site immensely. I hope you all enjoy.
• April 21, 2004 - 1:10a - continued portation of old BPL into new BPL; completed 'information' subsystem, composed of board minutes, credits/thanks, feedback, job vacancies, location, service hours, telephone, and this web log. Along with information- AV, Circ, Periodicals, Computer Room, Readers Advisory, and search subsections are complete. Still have Reference and YS, and Outreach departments to finish.
• April 15, 2004 - 10:00p - Began porting of current site to MacroMedia DreamWeaver, will take a while; 200+ pages to convert, anticipating a May 1st release of revision 5.0 of www.berwynlibrary.net. This is much improved over the July or August release date from 4/3/04.
• April 3rd, 2004 - 11:01a - Added new Ref additions list for April, 2004; Added updated Circulation Top Ten reserves, added Supervisor Accident Form; Decided on new layout for BPL - plans are in the works to convert to DreamWeaver. • Monday, September 16, 2002 - 11:28 PM - I've been working all weekend  but I managed to get the new site online.  Hopefully with all of the new content and features, this site may actually look -good-.  Probably not though.  New features include: E-Reference (Not complete yet), searchable indexes of all public libraries websites in SLS, and a slue of new graphical tidbits to excite the most bland minds, ok well it's not that good but rest assured, this is the 4th face lift our site has had, "every time it gets better and better"

• Sat. June 1st, 2002 - 1:04p - Updated and added content for Reference dept. Ref, only department to submit any content this month. Stuff is limited.
• Fri. May 10th, 2002 - 4:52p - Removed all references to T.e.c.h. Services because it does not exist any more. Added content for YS Summer Reading Program, updated news to display this addition also.
• Wed. May 1st, 2002 - 3:52p - Added lots of content to entire site, mainly Reference and Readers Advisory sections. Ref-Added new databases, new book list, May feature, removed old info, updated computer room info, RA - added tons of bibliographies, added Pre-Pubs section for both RA and Ref departments, added new book lists, moved over archives, updated Oprah list, removed names from Reading Logs, news - removed old news and added new news section for May.
• Sat. Apr. 27th, 2002 - 4:41p - Added various bibliographies to RA dept site including african, chicago, christian and holiday stories. Also began work on layout for hybrid RA & Ref pre-pubs list. Got my version of webmail almost working too. Will be able to deplay staff-wide email accounts once DSL line and domain services come through.
• Thu. April 25th, 2002 - 8:39p - Fixed rotating picture display on SRP 1950s pages; added new reference booklist, adjusted various pages; linked calendar directly from index.html, no more redirection page
• Wed. April 24th, 2002 - 10:50a - Updated Reference dept, news section, main page, and big big update for Readers Advisory department. Entire summer reading program flyers published amongst other things, and newly discovered pdf's created.

• Friday, April 12, 2002 - 11:44a - Switched over news and neccesary archived events. Switched emails, updated contact info and computer room and reference pages, removed tech. services completely (heh), removed other unused items and recalcuated global positioning satelite systems inorder to pull free from titan's gravitational pull
• Tuesday, March 19th, 2002 - 7:00p - Moved staff site over to intranet-based apache server; updated AV video/dvd policy.
• Friday, March 8th, 2002 - 10:55a - Updated Reference Feature and switched over news to March 2002. Not too much here to notice, on front page added a 'last updated' feature people have been missing for months
• Tuesday, February 5th, 2002 - 3:48p - Updated news submissions, linked calendar, extended calendar access pages, implemented new Reference feature and book lists, archived all the items that need archiving.
• Saturday, January 5th, 2002 - 3:44p - Wrote pages on Reference January feature, updated and switched over proper archives. Also, began news section for this month and archived the proper submissions.
• Saturday, December 1, 2001 - 3:22p - Updated YS pages; Added new Referece feature and booklist. Also Archived some of the normals, more to come pending submission for this month.
• Tuesday, November 6th, 2001 - 3:19p - Fixed Youth Services forms, also installed and prepared Calendar for staff. Complete with authenticated menus. It's nice.
• Friday, November 2nd - 4:40p - Big update folks. Tons of new content in YS department, new books added in 3 different departments, new news, new features, new reading logs, new cgi scripts in place to translate and relay scripted forms into email messages. Site is growing! Almost at 150 pages. Adios.
• Wednesday, October 10th - 3:30p - Added newer content for the regulars -- Reference, Readers Advisory and a little bit for childrens.
• Thursday, September 6th - 5:19p - completed YS pages (only thing not yet functioning is the volunteer form (thanks to crappy frontpage). Revamped news section, switched things over and archived properly. Ready to upload the new site and reindex the search database with YS's department
• Wednesday, September 5th - 3:30p - Added more Childrens, began work on their textbook pages, SRP pages, Library news and other goodies.
• Tuesday, September 4th, 8:03 PM - Updated RA department site, added new reading logs, new book list, (looking for old August list), updated Ref new books, transfered all archived documents to their proper places and will begin restoration of new material. Also look for YS web site to be going places. bye.
• Saturday, July 28th, 3:31 PM - Finished Ref August updates. This includes Education Feature and New Arrivals list. Also began to work on the August News.
• Saturday, July 7th, 1:14 AM - Finished July News so far, added new reference feature, altered staff site connection page, reindexed search engine.
• Thursday, June 28th, 4:39 PM - Added new books for July for RA, updated Oprah List, added 3 new reading logs, updated information for Cat Catalani performance, added annotated food bibliography, updated Reference's feature for july, also updated all current archives for July 2001. Look for new additions within the next few days.
• Wednesday, June 13th, 8:08 PM - Additions are now online. Added a link to the staff section that contains a lot of goodies (none of which are complete yet :(), added new Ref feature, more oprah books, new news section, updated search engine database too.
• Tuesday, June 5th, 3:38 PM - Began June news section, updated new books for Reference and Readers Advisory, added new June feature for reference, added new oprah book for RA, added new reading logs for RA. Updated all the appropriate archives as well.
• Friday, May 25th, 1:00 PM - Began work on staff.berwynlibrary.org included in all of this is a calendar (fully editable) and thorough technical support, updated RA added new reading logs, 4 new, created RA Read logs archive, added new list to Reference new books and other misc. changes
• Wednesday, May 16th, 2:02 PM - removed tickertape from main page, rewrote clock & date function (now works)
• Wednesday, May 9th, 10:04 AM - added tickertape to main index.html. ticker tape may be used to relay messages of importance with easy. Also completed minor spelling and layout errors.
• Saturday, May 5th, 6:44 PM - finished RA update entirely check for reading logs, new oprah bookclub additions, complete program schedule through august with all flyers transcribed, books and brick dedications created and completed, also combined the use of book covers with different departments and news sections.
• Friday, May 4th, 4:42 PM - Added so much content I don't think I can list it all. on index.html, wrote time & date combined java script, ra- added reading logs, rewrote programs section (including it under news), rewrote library news page to include childrens and ra programs now, wrote up program flyers for months to come, added dedications under library news, transcribed library dedications pages for books and bricks, added 4 reading logs, added content for may news, of course nothing done for children's or readers advisory, that would be too easy. :-)
• Monday, April 30th, 1:06 AM - Completely redid site search engine,improved it exponentially; added content for audio visual, including cgi-based survey that graphically displays results in real-time; switched over to may's events (ref features and library news); fixed minor typos on computer room page and circ page; updated circ top 10 reserves for this month; hard-coded feedback and counter java code into fusion mx (saves me time when publishing.)
• Wednesday, April 25th, 2:39 PM - also implemented site search engine, trial run only. created Reference Features Archive page, renamed Ref News to Reference Features, completed additions to new ref books, added preservation week and 13 purchased books to library news for may (not displayed until may)
• Saturday, April 21st, 4:42 PM - Made white text smaller on main page, reduced contact info graphic, updated links for tech services and computer room, compressed past news page to fix margins, moved banners on all circ pages to line up properly, removed italics from bottom of main circ page, fixed circ FAQ page, added periods to additional info page, resized SLS members graphic, fixed typos on Periodicals, page, added missing link on ref main page to ref policies, renamed contact information to contact info (saved on space that i dont have), completely redid images for library news paged, updated reference new arrivals and created an archive section for them to be referenced in the future. busy day.
• Thursday, April 19th, 8:09 PM - Updated missing reference link; added new reader's advisory april arrivals list; revamped entire past months news section to keep old news indexed by month, began work on May news page (not displayable until may), and added a java applet to serve as a site map.
• Wednesday, April 18th, 3:47 AM - Fixed broken RA picture links, (3 of them), added next April news segment, blue bow week
• Tuesday, April 17th, 4:42 AM - manually added counter java code to index.html so that the browsers properly parse the code therein, updated Reference E-collection anchors to point correctly; altered value for comments section of feedback form, form should accurately send all comments now.
• Monday, April 16th, 2001 7:07 AM, Tax Day!, uploaded new web site to NSN servers and removed the existing Frontpage server. (Everything looks good so far).
